The project team is using a number of methods to consult with stakeholders including face-to-face meetings, workshops, briefings, letters, brochures and this website. This section will be updated regularly as the consultation program progresses.
Below is a summary of some of the activities undertaken so far:
- In November and December 2007 we held initial meetings with each of the local councils along the pipeline corridor to brief them on the project and lay the groundwork for future discussions.

- Letters have been sent to the owners of properties currently located within the pipeline corridor to inform them about the project and the fact that their property may be impacted. Face-to-face meetings with these landowners to discuss specific issues will commence in the first quarter of 2008.

- QHGP has commenced the process of consulting with Aboriginal communities and Local Aboriginal Land Councils.

- We have held a number of discussions and meetings with Federal and NSW Government departments to clarify the approvals process and their requirements for the Environmental Assessment process.
